WHERE WE COME FROM
In the 80s, Marieta Piojan combined illustration with crafts, and it was in the 90s, with the arrival of the craft markets, when she decided to dedicate herself fully to these, which her son Aleix Guillén would later join.
Aleix had been surrounded by the world of craftsmanship all his childhood, and decided to become self-taught in the world of jewellery, introducing and advancing in this world professionally through practice and absorbing different techniques transmitted by professional jewellers.
ALICANTE
After travelling all over the peninsula learning and being inspired by each place they visited and after many years and kilometres on the road all over the country, they decided in 2004 to establish themselves in a physical space and open BOHEMIA in Elda (Alicante).
MAKA DAMA
All the jewellery and collections are handcrafted in MAKA DAMA’s own workshop, using sketches and tin sheets to give shape to the first ideas. Subsequently, the original idea is given its definitive shape, and so at the end of all the processes we have small works of art in the form of necklaces, earrings, bracelets and rings.
